UK-based developer Frameline released version 3.1 of its video database application, Frameline 47, on Tuesday. The application allows small to medium sized media companies a convenient means of storing and accessing video archives, and the update focuses on improving application speed, reliability as well as adding additional video networking functionality.
The 3.1 update added new features and fixes, including network database syncing, file check out, JKL navigation support, and faster processing. Other new features include the ability to capture to MPEG4 at multiple resolutions, full support for JKL navigation in every mode, the ability to cancel and resume drive indexing, the option to ignore certain file types, and a more powerful clip filter, and more.
Frameline 47 Version 3.1 retails for $149 (€109, £99) and Education and NGO discounts are also available on request. A 14-day demo is available for download and the application requires Mac OS X version 10.4 or higher to install and run. The update is available for free for all existing Frameline 47 users.
