Free Words with Friends Comes to the iPad

· by · Product News

Newtoy announced the immediate availability an ad-supported version of Words with Friends HD for the iPad on Monday. The new version lets users play the Scrabble-like game for free in exchange for viewing ads along with their games.

The free version of Words with Friends HD plays just like the paid version, complete with support for multiple games, the ability to find friends to play against, in-game messaging, and info about recently played games. What it doesn’t include, however, is the US$2.99 price tag that comes with Words with Friends HD.

Words with Friends Free is availabable for download at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
