Gameloft Launches Eight iPad Games: Sports, Combat, Cards, Driving Apps

Gameloft announced no fewer than eight games that are either new or updated for the iPad. All of the games have been designed around the iPad’s larger screen resolution, and each bears the “HD” moniker to note its iPad compatibility.

• Uno HD ($6.99) - The card game of the same name.
• N.O.V.A. - Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance HD ($9.99) - A science fiction first person shooter.
• Modern Combat: Sandstorm HD ($6.99) - A desert-based modern combat first person shooter.
• Dungeon Hunter HD ($6.99) - A “dark fantasy” combat role playing game.
• Asphalt 5 HD ($6.99) - A driving game.
• NFL 2010 HD ($6.99) - An NFL-licensed American football game.
• Let’s Golf! HD ($6.99) - A golf game.
• Real Soccer 2010 HD ($6.99) - A soccer (or football outside the U.S.) game.
