GarageBand Gets New Celebrity Lessons

Apple added new music lessons featuring celebrity performances for GarageBand '09 on Wednesday. The new lessons include Sting's Fragile and Message in a Bottle, along with Sarah McLachlan's Angel.

GarageBand '09 includes a feature that lets users learn to play the piano or guitar through a series of video-based Basic Lessons and Artist Lessons. The Basic Lessons introduce users to the instruments and basic music concepts, and the Artist Lessons include popular musicians showing how to play their own songs.

Artist Lessons are available for US$4.99 each through GarageBand '09, and include songs from Ben Folds, Fall Out Boy, John Fogerty, Norah Jones, and more.
