GoodReader for iPad Adds Data Encryption, More

Good.iWare released GoodReader 3.6 for the the iPad on Sunday, adding support for iOS’s ability to encrypt individual files. GoodReader is a multi-function app that supports viewing PDF and other document formats, and can download files from several online data storage services.

Version 3.4 also added support for wireless video playback via Apple’s AirPlay, added the ability to flatten PDF annotations, added support for symbolic PDF page labels, improved Typewiter notes compatibility for PDF annotations, improved Microsoft ISS / Sharepoint WebDAV server connections, improved SugarSync connection reliability, improved sync times for large numbers of small files, and more.

GoodReder 3.4 is priced at US$4.99 and is available for download at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
