GoodReader Update Improves File Management, More

Good.iWire released updated versions of GoodReader for the iPad on Friday. The updates improve file management, and improved the app’s built-in PDF annotation features.

GoodReader 3.8 added file tabs for jumping between recently viewed file without requiring users to return to the file list view, added the ability to delete local files when performing download-only syncs, and improved iPad 2 native mirroring support.

Enhancements to the app’s PDF features included a new side menu for making PDF annotations, the ability to change line thickness and color in drawing mode, and the ability to remember the passwords for protected documents while the PDF is open.

GoodReader 3.8 for the iPad is priced at US$4.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store. The update is free for all users.
