Google Books for iPhone, iPad Adds Landscape Mode

Google released Google Books 1.1.0.2247 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on Wednesday. The updated version of the ebook reader app added landscape viewing mode for iPad users, and improved the Google eBookstore login process.

The update also added the ability to view all matches with the Find feature while scrolling through pages, improved overall performance, added 3D page turning for iPads running iOS 4.3, improved book downloads, and more.

Google Books is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.

Is this app only the USA iTunes AppStore?

It doesn’t seem accessible on the Canadian AppStore - from Mexico.

Why cant reviews point out the caveats & gotchas?

Google continues to produce and update their software for iOS. Adobe is bringing Photoshop to the iPad.
