Google Earth 3 Adds iPad Support

Google Earth 3.0 hit Apple’s App Store on Tuesday with support for the iPad.

The earth exploration app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad now includes higher resolution images, an iPad-specific interface and a new road layer for the iPhone 3GS and iPad.

Google Earth 3.0 is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
