Google released Google Earth 2.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch on Tuesday. The new version of the interactive map application added the ability to view maps made with the desktop version of Google Earth.

The update also added visual feedback so it's easier to see which map tags you are tapping, improved overall performance, added support for additional languages, and more.

Google Earth 2.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch is free and available for download at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
