Google Instant Search Goes Beta for iPhone

Google launched a new beta service for iPhone on Thursday. The company is now making its Google Instant feature available to iPhone. The feature allows users to see search results as you type, as you can see in the screen shots below.

If you visit the Google home page on your iPhone, you’ll find an option to turn on “Instant (beta)” just below the search field, as you can see in the figure to the left below. Turn it on, and you ‘ll see results as you type, similar to the figure to the right below.

I wonder how much more data this uses (probably not that much more, but I only get 200 megs).
