Tri-Edre announced the release of a public beat of GrandReporter on Wednesday. GrandReporter lets users automate online searches for news. With GrandReporter users create queries for all the subjects they are interested in, and the software will periodically and automatically check the Web for the queries.
GrandReporter surveys the Web in background, and users are notified as soon as a new page is referenced on the Internet for one of the subjects being surveyed.
The app also distinguishes new pages to immediately see what is new on each subject, and can display previews of the pages in its built-in browser. The final version of GrandReporter will be released at the end of July.
GrandReporter is available for US$29 at the Tri-Edre Web site.
