Houdah Software announced the immediate availability of ACTRocket 1.0 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on Friday. ACTRocket is an app that queries multiple online search engines without requiring users to first launch Mobile Safari.

The app supports several search engines such as Google, Yahoo! and Bing, along with popular information sites like IMDB and Wikipedia. Users can also add other sites and search engines.

ACTRocket 1.0 is priced at US$0.99 and is available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
