The printer supports built-in Ethernet and wireless networking options and fast print, copy, scan and fax speeds. Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X Snow Leopard are supported.

HP also said, "In addition, the 4500 produces fast-drying documents that resist fading when using papers with the ColorLok logo. With the optional HP 901XL Black Officejet Inkjet Cartridge – the highest-yielding supply offering among current in-class inkjets in the market – small businesses can now print up to three times more black pages for greater savings."

The Officejet 4500 will be available in March, priced at US$99.00. Hewlett Packard is in booth #848 at Macworld 2010.

Biggest nightmare on earth: HP AIO units.

Guaranteed obsolescence.

Exorbitant ink refill costs.

Auto document feeder rollers go South before they should.

Software updates never meet the demand of the end user when Apple changes something.

HP printers are not at all what they once were.
