HP Intros Printer Control App for iPhone

· by · Product News

PrinterHP is working to make it easier for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users to print documents with the introduction of its new HP Printer Controller app. The app will let users control all of their wireless HP printer’s functions, scan and upload images to Facebook, and monitor printer supply levels.

The app also supports scanning and uploading images to Google Docs, or scanning and emailing images.

The company is also launching HP ePrint Home and Biz, geared towards users that need a simple tool for printing documents and photos wirelessly from their iOS device.

HP plans to release ePrint Home and Biz as a free App Store download in September. The company hasn’t said when HP Printer Controller will be available.
