Hulu Heading to iPhone?

| News

Hulu, a web site that hosts current and archival content from Fox, NBC, and Universal, could be coming to the iPhone and iPod touch, according to Silicon Alley Insider, which cited "a plugged-in industry executive" who described the app as "badass" and said it will work over Wi-Fi and AT&T's 3G cellular network.

While CBS' TV.com app, Joost, i.TV and other mobile video apps are already available for the iPhone, Hulu could help grow the mobile video market, which isn't very large yet. "If we were Hulu," said the web site, "we'd offer Apple and/or AT&T an ad revenue-sharing deal, too." Because Hulu's content is streamed, however, viewers will likely not be able to download videos and watch them offline.
