i2Telecom International Inc. on Monday introduced a Macintosh version of its VoiceStick VoIP "softphone," which is the free, software-only version of its VoiceStick USB device. The company said that the Mac version of the software offers the same functionality as the Windows version; it runs on Mac OS X v10.3 or v10.4.
Rate plans start at US$0.99 per month for calls that cost $0.024 per minute in the U.S. and Canada and $0.02 per minute internationally. A $24.99 global plan allows unlimited calling from anywhere in the world.
