iGet 2.0 Will Add Support for Tiger, More

Five Speed Software has announced that a Beta of version 2.0 of iGet, its file transfer utility, will be released on April 29, the same day Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" will be widely available. New features in the upgrade, which will be free for all current iGet users, include integration with Automator, remote searching of other Macs with Spotlight, a quick-connect widget for use with Dashboard, the ability to connect to custom port numbers, URL support and more.

The developer said that it will ship the final version of iGet 2.0 "shortly after" the Betais release. Pricing will be US$49.95. Anyone who doesnit own the current version of iGet can purchase it through April 30 for $24.95, with educational and site license discounts available.
