Amidst all of the MACWORLD huh-bub, Apple released an update to the software for the iPod, moving the version up to 1.0.4. This latest update adds support for longer filenames and support for some additional languages. From Apple:
iPod Software 1.0.4 Updater adds support for iPod names of up to 255 characters, additional languages including Brazilian/Portuguese, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish, and addresses compatibility and performance issues which users may have experienced with version 1.0.3.
