iBiquity Intros iPhone HD Radio Attachment

iBiquity Digital Corporation announced the immediate availability of the Gigaware Navigation Control HD Radio Receiver for the iPhone and iPod touch on Wednesday. The accessory receives HD Radio FM stations and plays them through your handheld's speakers or earbuds.

The Gigaware receiver supports HD2 and HD3 channels, and works with the Gigaware app. the application includes iTunes tagging support, manual and auto station finding, favorite station bookmarks, and email, Twitter and Facebook integration.

The Gigaware Navigation Control HD Radio Receiver is priced at US$79.99 and is available at RadioShack stores and the RadioShack Web site. The companion application is available as a free download at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
