iBooks Update Addresses Video Playback Issues

Apple released iBooks 1.2.2 late on Thursday to address playback issues for videos embedded in ebooks purchased from the iBookstore. iBooks is Apple’s ebook reader app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

The 1.2.2 update also corrected an issue where books would display with the wrong font, and improved performance when navigating books with a long table of contents.

iBooks 1.2.2 is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
