iBooks Update Fixes Login Issue

Along with Cards 1.1, Apple released iBooks 2.1.1 on Monday. The update for Apple’s own ebook reader app fixed an issue that forced some users to reenter their Apple ID at unexpected times.

Users that are experiencing the Apple ID nag issue will need to relaunch the app after installing the update.

iBooks is Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod touch app for reading, managing and purchasing books through the iBookstore. It also supports reading and organizing PDF documents.

iBooks 2.1.1 is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
