iEntertainment to Extend WarBirds Franchise With Dogfights Game

November 19th, 2009 at 7:42 PM - Games by Brad Cook

iEntertainment Network on Thursday announced that in January it will ship Dogfights, the latest entry in its WarBirds aerial combat series, for Mac and PC. The single-player game will feature over 100 historically accurate aircraft for players to fly in more than 40 combat missions.

Each air battle lets players accumulate points, earn new ranks, and acquire medals. Three levels of difficulty are included, along with such locations as London, Paris, Berlin, and World War II Pacific battle spots like the Philippines and Midway.

Players will also receive a 30-day free trial for iEntertainment’s massively multiplayer game WarBirds, where players engage in online dogfights in a variety of arenas reenacting battles from World War II. Dogfights will sell for US$29.95 when it ships in January. System requirements were not provided, and iEntertainment does not have a web page on its web site yet.
