IK Multimedia announced Monday that AmpliTube 3 is shipping. The software offers 160 amp and stomp box models for digital recording and live play for the guitar and bass. The company is billing version 3 of the software as a "massive upgrade" that includes more than 100 new models from the previous version.

New features, according to IK Multimedia:
