Illustrator: Adobe’s New HTML5 Editor

· by · Product News

Adobe extended its reach into the HTML5 world on Monday with the release of its new HTML5 pack for Illustrator CS5. The add-on pack lets users export Illustrator artboards as HTML5 and CSS3 content, and also enhances the application’s SVG export capabilities.

The Illustrator CS5 HTML5 add-on pack is designed to dovetail with Dreamweaver CS5’s HTML5 features so users can export designs for multiple screen sizes, build interactive Web sites, and create Web widgets.

The Illustrator CS5 HTML5 pack requires Illustrator CS5 15.0.1, and is available as a free download at the Adobe Labs Web site.
