Apple released iMovie for the iPhone 4 early Thursday morning ahead of the new combination iPod and smartphone’s scheduled launch. iMovie lets users edit and share movies on their iPhone 4.
iMove for the iPhone uses multi-touch gestures to edit video, lets users add video and audio to projects, supports clip trimming, and can import photos. It also includes several theme templates for movies, transition effects, and theme sound tracks.
Users can export movies as medium, large or HD, share movies via YouTube or MobileMe galleries, and supports emailing movies and sending movies via MMS messages.
iMovie for the iPhone is priced at US$4.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
