iMovie for iPhone, iPad Adds HDTV Audio Support

Along with its update for GarageBand, Apple released an iMovie for iPhone and iPad update on Wednesday. The update for the movie editing app added support for playing audio over through high definition TVs with the Apple Digital AV Adapter.

iMovie 1.2.1 also added the ability play videos in full screen mode from Marquee on HDTVs via the Apple Digital AV Adapter, fixed an issue where media could be missing from projects, improved grouping videos by date, fixed several bugs, and improved performance.

iMovie 1.2.1 is priced at US$4.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store. The update is free for version 1.x users.
