iPhoto 8.1 Adds Extra-large Photo Book Size

Apple released iPhoto 8.1 on Tuesday. The update for the iLife '09 photo editing and management application added support for 13x10-inch hard cover books, bumping up the maximum photo book size from 11x8.5-inches.

The 8.1 update also added several new holiday greeting card themes, along with Tropical, Asian and Old World travel-oriented book themes.

iPhoto is available as part of the US$79 iLife '09 application suite. The update is free and available via Apple's Software Update application.
