iTunes Preview Gains In-Browser Song Samples

Apple has added in-browser song sampling to iTunes Preview, allowing users to listen to music clips without having to open iTunes. Apple introduced iTunes Preview last November so that content at the iTunes Store could be viewed without having to leave a web browser, but it lacked song sampling at the time.

On Apple’s iTunes Charts web page, users can click a song to learn more about it. Mousing over the song’s title brings up a play button, as it does on the iTunes Store.
