iWork Updates for OS X, iOS Add iCloud Drive Support, More

Thursday's release of OS X Yosemite brought along big updates for Pages, Numbers and Keynote for both the Mac and iOS devices. The updates for Apple's iWork suite included iCloud Drive support and Handoff support.

Pages is Apple's document design and editing app, Numbers is a spreadsheet app, and Keynote is a presentation app.

Pages now supports images in tables, headers and footers, improved Microsoft Word compatibility, a sidebar for comments and tracked changes, improved Dropbox and Gmail support, AppleScript support for Mail Merge, and more. Numbers gained inter-table alignment guides, a table transpose feature, support for printing floating comments, and better chart resizing and positioning tools. Keynote added Trace animation, improved chart tools, inter-table alignment guides, and Multipeer Connectivity for pairing with nearby iOS devices.

Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for the Mac are priced at US$19.99 each. The updates are free and available at Apple's Mac App Store. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch cost $4.99 each, with free updates through the App Store.
