Freeverse to Distribute Humorous Game Jack Keane in North America

Freeverse on Thursday announced that it is now distributing the humorous adventure game Jack Keane in North America. Featuring over 40 characters, the game takes players to 15 locations, including London and the ominous Tooth Island, in a quest set during the colonial era.

Jack accepts a job escorting a British secret agent to Tooth Island, but when a monster eats the man soon after arrival, Jack must fend for himself and figure out the island's mysteries. Players assume the role of Jack as he interacts with other characters and uses over 250 found objects to solve puzzles. Eventually he learns not only who is behind the mysterious goings-on on Tooth Island but how they tie into his past

The game features realistic water and particle effects, as well as dynamic lighting. System requirements call for Mac OS X version 10.3.9, a 1.4GHz G4 or Intel processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of hard disk space, and 64MB of video RAM, including Intel integrated video chipsets. Pricing is US$39.99.
