Jeff Gamet Speaks at Ignite Denver Feb 27

Jeff Gamet talks about smelling stuff at Ignite DenverThe Mac Observer's Managing Editor Jeff Gamet will be stepping a little outside of the technology world this Wednesday to speak at Ignite 13 in Denver, Colorado. That little step means instead of talking about Apple or other tech-related topics, Jeff will be sharing his perspective on going through life as a super smeller.

Ignite is an event where several people get the chance to talk on whatever topic they like, assuming they're selected by popular vote to speak. Presentations are five minutes long, include 20 slides that auto advance every 15 seconds, and don't include the chance to start over should something go wrong once the clock is ticking.

Along with Jeff talking about what it's like living life with a nose that picks up more scents than the average human, you'll also have the chance to learn what the world looks like from a wheelchair, what life is like for reporters embedded in war zones, why you may be living in a common law marriage, why user experience matters outside of software, and more.

Ignite Denver starts at 7PM mountain time on Wednesday, February 27. The event will be held at the Oriental Theater at 4335  W 44th Av in Denver. Tickets are priced at US$5 and are available through the Ignite Denver website.
