Joost Client Released for iPhone, iPod Touch
December 2nd, 2008 at 10:50 AM - News by Chris Barylick
Joost, the on-demand video streaming service for the Mac by the creators of Skye and Kazaa, has now arrived for the iPhone and iPod touch handsets. The free client, which is available on the iTunes App Store, allows users to browse through and view and listen to popular movies, TV shows, music and videos.
In a blog post published on Saturday, Joost's Matt Zelesko offered the following:
"...…it means another way to view our ever-expanding library of content on Joost. The first version of the iPhone application provides access to our full content library via Wi-Fi. You can browse, search, or simply enjoy some of our most popular programs. Personally, I’ve found it to be a great way to enjoy our extensive music video library and settle some of those “who did that song?” bets at the same time."
For users looking to get into Joost, the service's video library boasts more than 46,000 videos and requires iPhone OS 2.1 or later to install and run.

Yeah! How long before Apple pulls this one?
I’m not impressed with it. Downloaded last night and played around with it. My main problem is that the video content stops and stutters. I couldn’t get anything to play smoothly and uninterrupted on my Wi-Fi at home.
Same here. Server timed out on every selection.
It works for me. The content just sucks.
Give me Hulu. I just want Hulu.
