KavaSoft announced the immediate availability of KavaTunes 4 on Wednesday. The new version of the Web-based jukebox application for iTunes added customizable detail pages for favorite artists and updated the interface to more closely match iTunes 9 and the iTunes Store.
Version 4 also added links to more than two dozen music-related Web sites such as Amazon.com, All Music Guide, Last.fm, and YouTube.
KavaTunes lets users browse and listen to their iTunes music remotely, download music and videos from their library, displays a collage of album artwork and artist photos, shows recently played tracks, links to artist fan pages on Facebook, and more.
KavaTunes is priced at US$35 and is available at the KavaSoft Web site. Upgrades from earlier versions cost $10.
