Kingston announced the immediate availability of a Mac OS X-compatible version of its DataTraveler Vault USB flash storage drive on Tuesday. The flash drive is USB 2.0-compatible, sports 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption, and is available in storage capacities up to 32GB.

The DataTraveler Vault does not require any special software to use, encrypts and decrypts data on the fly, and self locks requiring a reformat after ten unsuccessful login attempts. It is priced starting at US$110 for the 2GB model.
