LaCie Adds 2big, 5big to NAS Lineup

LaCie announced the immediate availability of its 2big and 5big NAS storage devices on Tuesday. Both support Gigabit Ethernet, and the 2big can hold up to 4TB of storage while the 5big supports up to 10TB of storage.

The networkable RAID systems support Apple's Time Machine backup system, Active Directory, Wake-on-LAN, and UPnP multimedia streaming, and include Genie and Intego Backup Manager Pro software. The 2big supports two RAID modes, and the 5big supports seven RAID modes as well as iTunes Server.

The 2big is priced starting at US$319.99, and the 5big is priced starting at $799.99.
