LaCie Intros Big Disk, d2 Network Drives

LaCie announced the immediate availability of the Big Disk Network and d2 Network on Wednesday. The new versions of the hard disk systems suppport are networkable NAS solutions with support for up to 4TB of storage.

The NAS drives include Gigabit Ethernet ports, support Apple's Time Machine data backup system, can stream multimedia content to UPnP-aware devices, and allow up to 50 users and 15 simultaneous connections.

The Big Disk Network supports up to 4TB of storage and RAID 0, and the d2 Network supports up to 1.5TB of storage and includes and eSATA port for adding extra storage.

The Big Disk Network is priced starting at US$379.99, and $189.99 for the d2 Network.
