LaCie announced the immediate availability of the Rugged XL 1TB desktop hard drive. The hard drive sports eSATA and USB interfaces and an aluminum and rubber shell.
The Rugged XL supports eSATA 3Gb/s speeds, hi-speed USB 2.0, includes an internal drive bumper, heat dissipation features, and LaCie's data backup software. It is priced at US$159.99 and is available through LaCie and LaCie resellers.
