LaCie Unveils USB Sound2 Speakers

LaCie introduced its new Sound2 Speakers on Wednesday. The USB powered speaker system was designed in conjunction with Cabasse and Neil Poulton, and is compatible with computers, iPods and other media players.

The speakers offer a frequency response between 80Hz and 20KHz, include a built-in shielded 30W digital amplifier, include a built-in volume control, and draw power from a USB port instead of an AC adapter.

The Sound2 Speakers are priced at US$99.99.
