restoroot announced the immediate availability of Letter Opener 3 on Wednesday. The new version of the Outlook winmail.dat format compatibility plug-in for Mail added support for Mac OS X 10.6.
Version 3 can convert events and tasks from Outlook attachments to iCal events and to-dos, imports contacts into Address Book, recognizes nested messages, converts delivery and read receipts, and more.
Letter Opener 3 is priced at €19.99 (about US$29.13) and is available for download at the restoroot Web site.
