Light Pillar Intros Portal Web Browser for iPhone

Light Pillar announced the immediate availability of Portal for the iPhone and iPod touch on Monday. Portal is an alternate Web browser that offers a full screen site viewer.

The Web browser also includes a research mode that highlights key phrases on Web sites, supports searching groups of Web sites, lets users create browsing profiles, and includes a private browsing mode that lets users store and hide browsing histories.

Portal is priced at US$1.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
