Lightroom 2.7, Camera Raw 5.7 Add Support for New Cameras

Adobe announced the immediate availability of the final versions of Lightroom 2.7, Photoshop Camera Raw 5.7 and DNG Converter 5.7 on Wednesday. The updates added support for nine new digital camera models.

Support was added for:

Canon EOS 550D (Digital Rebel T2i/ EOS Kiss X4 Digital)

  • Kodak Z981
  • Leaf Aptus-II 8
  • Leaf Aptus-II 10R; Mamiya DM40
  • Olympus E-PL1
  • Panasonic G2
  • Panasonic G10
  • Sony A450

The Lightroom 2.7 update requires Lightroom 2, and the Photoshop Camera Raw 5.7 update requires Photoshop CS4, Photoshop Elements 8, or Premier Elements 8. The updates are available as free downloads at the Adobe Web site.
