LinkedIn 5 for iOS Adds iPad Support

LinkedIn announced the immediate availability of version 5 of its self-named social networking app for iOS on Thursday. The new version of the app added an iPad-native interface, and added a calendar feature for viewing the LinkedIn profile information for people you meet with.

LinkedIn is a social networking service that targets professional activities and users. The services works as a sort of online resume where users can also share what they’re currently doing and chat with other users.

LinkedIn is a free service, and LinkedIn 5.0 is available as a free download at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
