Liquid Scale Adds Intelligent Image Resizing to iPhone

Savoy Software announced the immediate availability of Liquid Scale 1.0 on Thursday. Liquid Scale is an image editing application for the iPhone and iPod touch that lets users selectively scale and crop images.

The application lets users leave important areas in images untouched while scaling backgrounds and leaving proportions intact, convert images from portrait to landscape without losing the content's orientation, remove people from images, and more.

Liquid Scale 1.0 is priced at US$1.99 and is available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
