Logic Express 9 Hits Store Shelves

Apple released Logic Express 9, the pro-sumer version of its audio and music editing application, on Friday. The new version includes more than 100 studio effects and software instruments.

Version 9 added a new set of timing and tempo features collectively known as Flex Time. The set includes Flex Tool for pushing and pulling wave forms, Audio Quantize to force audio regions to fit a musical grid, drum track editing, and the ability to speed up or slow down complete multi-track projects, and more.

The update also added other tools such as Selective Track Import, Drum Replacer, Bounce-in-Place, Notation and chord grids, Amp Designer, Pedalboard, and Apogee GiO support.

Logic Express 9 is priced at US$199.99.
