Logitech Intros Rechargeable Speakers for iPhone, iPod

Logitech unveiled its new Rechargeable Speaker S715i system for the iPhone, iPod touch and other iPod models on Wednesday. The stereo speaker system includes a built-in rechargeable battery, an iPod Dock connector, and a 3.5mm input for other audio devices.

The S715i is just over 15-inches long, weighs 24 ounces, offers an eight-hour battery life, includes a charger and comes with a travel case. It also includes a wireless remote control that supports power, play, pause, shuffle, skip, volume and repeat functions.

The Rechargeable Speaker S715i is set to ship in August and will be priced at US$149.99.
