LogMeIn Inc. announced Thursday that a new version of LogMeIn Ignition that includes support for the iPad has gone live on the App Store. The app allows users to log in to their Mac (running LogMeIn Free) or PC (running LogMeIn Free or Pro) from their iPhone, iPod touch, and now, the iPad.

When run on the iPad, the new version takes advantage of the iPad’s larger screen real estate. The update also offers users faster startup times and shorter time to connect.

LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad is priced at US$29.99. The update is free to registered owners of the previous version and can be downloaded through the App Store’s update feature.
