Macnification 1.6 Ramps Up Snow Leopard Support

Orbicule announced the immediate availability of Macnification 1.6 on Thursday. The update for the digital microscope application for Mac OS X added full 64-bit support along with support for Snow Leopard's Grand Central Dispatch technology.

Version 1.6 offers improved full screen view for image analysis, performance improvements, bug fixes, and more. The application also supports Apple's Core Data, ImageKit Quick Look, Spotlight, and Time Machine technologies.

Macnification 1.6 is priced starting at US$149, or $79 for students, and is available at the Orbicule Web site.
