MacUpdate on Friday announced its Spring 2009 software bundle, which features 11 applications worth over US$500, including Micromat's TechTool Pro 5 and Parallels Desktop 4, for $49.99. TechTool Pro 5 is a disk utility that checks RAM and hard drive health, fixes software issues, and more, while Parallels 4 allows users to run Windows and Linux applications in Mac OS X on Intel-based machines.
Also included in the bundle are the digital organizer Circus Ponies Notebook 3, Intego's firewall utility NetBarrier X5, the DVD backup tool DVDRemaster, the DVD player Multiplex, the DVD copying utility RipIt, the financial manager MoneyWell, the digital document manager Paperless, the file compression and encryption tool BetterZip, and Posterino, which allows users to create posters, postcards, greeting cards, and more with their existing photos.
The special bundle pricing expires June 12.
