MacVide Updates FlashVideo Converter with 30 FPS Engine

Macvide announced the release of FlashVideo Converter 3.0 on Tuesday, an update to the company's Flash SWF and FLV to video conversion utility for Mac OS X. New in version 3 are the new video engine that allows users to create true 30 fps videos and miscellaneous bug fixes.

FlashVideo Converter is a utility for converting any flash video file to one of many video formats, including iPhone/iPod mp4, Mobile .3gp and MPEG2. FlashVideo fully supports ActionScript and features a new Video Engine to create true 30 FPS movies.

Converted movies can be saved for editing, or recorded for use in DVD players, or on iPod, iPhones and other mobile devices.

FlashVideo Converter is available for download of a free trial version at Macvide’s site. The full version is priced at US$99.95.
