| News

David Pogue, technology pundit and New York Times columnist, will be kicking off Macworld Expo 2010 with a keynote presentation called "Late Night with David Pogue." Popular tech host Leo Laporte is also taking over as the new host for the expo's annual Macworld Live! onsite talkshow event.

Macworld Expo is calling Mr. Pogue's keynote presentation a "midmorning late-night talk show," and promises song parodies, jokes and surprise guests. His keynote will start at 10:30AM pacific time on Thursday, February 11.

Mr. Laporte, well known for MacBreak Weekly, The Tech Guy and the TWiT netcast network, will host Macworld Live! on Friday, February 12 at 2PM pacific time. The show will include expo news and special guests, and some surprises, too.

Macworld Expo runs from February 9 through February 13, 2009, at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. For additional information about the Expo and events, visit the Macworld Expo Web site.

Here’s hoping that David Pogue unveils a MacTablet and a Bluetooth keyboard with trackpad (like the bottom half of a MacBook) in his keynote.
